The short version? - I'm a northern photographer with a great love for dogs.
Got a little more time on your hands?
Born'n'raised in Stoke-On-Trent - The home of Phil Taylor, Robbie Williams, Slash and Staffordshire Oatcakes - I first picked up a camera (Sony Alpha A100) in late 2009 after deciding to follow my father's footsteps and study photography. I initially picked up the lens as a means of finding one more course to study at A-Level but soon found that my greatest passion lay within the frames of photographs. After some lessons from my old man in aperture and shutter speed I made the decision to move to London where I received a degree in Digital Photography.
As a musician and son of a music-lover, I often found my camera pointed toward the activities of musicians. This is where I developed a reportage style of photography which I fuse into all aspects of my work wether that be music documentary or weddings.
I enjoy photographing any and all aspects of life, alongside music my next favourite things to photograph are the amazing Dogs I have known. Having been raised in a house with never any less than four dogs (Two Terriers slept beside me in my cot) I always find great joy in spending time capturing the character and personality of these beautiful animals.
I have worked for/published by a number of clients including Professional Photographer Magazine, The Sentinel, The Buddy Holly West End Musical, The M25 Consortium, Philip Hardaker Ceramics (For whom I have documented projects commissioned by Parliament and The Royal Family), Rave Late and have photographed multiple musicians and bands ranging from Anavae, Hypothesis to Kids in Glass Houses and Slash.
